What is HeyLane?

HeyLane connects people with participating local businesses and rides. Lane Maps helps you explore, Lane Vibes brings familiar opinions into your decision, direct messages let you ask questions, and Rides helps you get there.

How does HeyLane Rides handle fares and platform fees?

HeyLane’s policy is no added platform booking fee for passengers. Fares are calculated transparently based on base fare, distance and time. Applicable tolls, statutory taxes, waiting time or legitimate cancellations apply as displayed.

Are rides already available in Bhubaneswar?

Auto and bike ride concepts are planned for Bhubaneswar. Service availability is scheduled to open following driver partner onboarding, verification and regulatory confirmations.

How does the in-ride SOS emergency feature work?

Tapping SOS during an active ride attempts dual-channel delivery to the HeyLane Safety Response team and dispatches an encrypted tracking link to selected trusted contacts. Location sharing ends when the trip or incident is completed.

How does the HeyLane Wallet work?

The wallet displays customer-funded balances, non-withdrawable promotional credits, and pending refunds as distinct ledgers. It is an illustrative preview of a closed/semi-closed prepaid instrument requiring an authorized PPI partner.

Where is HeyLane available?

The currently confirmed city is Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Business participation and individual services vary. Other cities are not being advertised as available yet.

How does Lane Vibes work?

When your contacts have rated a place, their vibe ratings help calculate your personal match. When they have not, you can explore community reviews. All reviews remain accessible in both cases.

Can I book a hotel on this website?

This website introduces the experience; it does not take reservations or payments. Live room availability, rates, cancellation terms and booking confirmation belong to the connected HeyLane app and participating hotel. Official access links appear on the Get the app page when available.

Do rewards require a positive review?

No. The first-in-circle invitation is for an honest vibe review. Any billing reward depends on the participating business’s offer and eligibility, not a requirement to leave praise.
